I just wanted to say a quick thank you for all the work you and your staff put in on the conference. It was really great and we gained new perspective on our business.
One item that I wanted to mention in particular was when Vern said our business's often run better when we are away. I resisted the temptation to call in or check my email all week. When I came in this morning (and did not check my email till 10) and asked how everything was, my staff just shrugged and said "great". After checking on things, I found they had a very good week in our absence.
I really appreciate that we have been able to get enough of the "system" in place for this to happen. We are planning our first ever 2 week vacation later this year. It is a neat feeling to know that through proper training and guidelines, our staff will be able to flourish in our absence.
